The historic Polasek residence and the museum’s sculpture gardens provide an intimate setting for over 200 sculptures, paintings and drawings by Albin Polasek.  Also included in the museum’s holdings are Polasek’s personal collection of decorative and fine arts, including European furniture, American sculpture and antiquities. The Polasek’s permanent installations in the residence, religious works in the chapel, special exhibitions in the gallery building and the inspiring gardens bring Albin Polasek’s life and vision to our visitors on a daily basis.

Curatorial staff and volunteers are working on Albin Polasek’s catalogue raisonné, documenting his 400 known works both on and off museum property. Not only are the works being documented, but proper care of the artwork is an on-going necessity, with collection pieces being sponsored and conserved each year.
